Welcome to my website page. I am excited to be working with at Bridgman Public Schools. I would like to begin by telling you a little about myself. I have a teaching degree in Special Education (K-12), Child Development, and General Education from Central Michigan University. This is my twenty-fifth year teaching and my first year at Bridgman Public Schools. I will be at the Bridgman High School in the morning and then F.C. Reed Middle school in the afternoon.
I enjoy sewing, reading, walking, photography, and working with Therapy Dogs. I love to spend time with my family, especially my Husband Tobey and our four children Courtney, Hanna, Dru Joseph, and Meghan. I also enjoy spending time with my dog Luke (Black Retriever), who happens to be a registered therapy dog, and my cat Mordecai (Flame Point Siamese).
I love teaching and I am very excited to be working with Bridgman School's students and their families. We are going to have a great school year. We will be doing so much this year. I will be working with students to improve their Individual Educational Plan (IEP) goals. We will do this by working within the grade level material covered in each grade level. We will be reviewing a lot, learning even more, and having fun along the way. I believe that parent involvement is very important to a successful classroom and school year. I look forward to getting to know you and working with you throughout the school year.
